Damascus (SANA) – Students who participated in the Syrian Science Olympiad won two medals, a silver and a bronze, and received a certificate of appreciation at the International Biology Olympiad held in Kazakhstan from July 7 to 14, in which 800 students from 80 countries participated.
In a statement provided to SANA today, the Academy of Excellence and Creativity said that the silver medal was won by Kenan El Kanjo, a student from Aleppo governorate, the bronze medal was won by Muhammad Haydar, a student from Latakia governorate, and the certificate of appreciation was won by Mikdad El Ali, a student from Homs governorate.
