France national team and Atletico Madrid star Antoine Griezmann has made a decision on his future with the Roosters following their elimination from the Euro 2024 semi-finals.
“I still have the desire to continue my career with the national team,” Griezmann said in a statement highlighted by French network GFFN.
He stressed that he had struggled at the start of the campaign with the Roosters, noting that he was trying to adapt to playing in multiple positions.
Antoine Griezmann (33) is the second captain of the French national team after Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe.
Griezmann began his international career with the French national team in 2014, where he scored 44 goals in 135 appearances.
The Atletico Madrid star is preparing for France’s Nations League campaign and 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
