“Starokostantyniv in Khmelnitsky Oblast is our air barrier. (Russians) believe that this is a place where new birds (F-16 aircraft) are welcome,” the blogger wrote on Telegram.
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian military reported that Tu-95 bombers taking off from Engels Airport in Russia’s Saratov region launched Kh-101 cruise missiles. Russia also used Iranian-made Shahed attack drones, which were launched from Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia and Cape Joda in occupied Crimea.
General Mykola Olehuk, commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, revealed that Russia used 11 Kh-101 and Kh-55 missiles and up to 32 Shahed drones in the night attack. “The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense shot down seven missiles and all drones,” he wrote on Telegram.
