Today, the European Commission formally charged Company X with violating EU social media laws and held Musk accountable for making the social network a haven for misinformation and illegal content.
The European Commission’s preliminary investigation found that X had violated laws on advertising transparency, access to data for researchers, and so-called “dark forms” used to collect private data by deceiving users.
