The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, confirmed on Thursday (July 11) the extradition to Venezuela of Gesso Guerrero Flores, brother of Hector Guerrero, also known as “Nino Guerrero”, leader of the “Trén de Aragua” criminal gang.

He stressed that for this purpose a commission had been set up, composed of prosecutors from the 69th and 83rd Nac, in charge of combating organized crime, the La Guaira prosecutor in charge of human rights10, the Scientific Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) authorities. ) and the Vice-Minister of the Interior and Justice.

Guerrero Flores was arrested on March 7 in Madrid, Spain.

Upon learning of this arrest, the Public Ministry initiated extradition proceedings, which were approved by the Criminal Chamber of the Supreme Court, according to Decision No. 127, drafted by Judge Mike Moreno and issued last March.
