In response to the European Union’s imposition of additional temporary tariffs on electric vehicles imported from China, US electric car maker Tesla has raised the market price of its Model 3 sold in Europe.
According to the company’s website, the price of Model 3 sold in European markets such as Germany and Spain has been increased by 1,500 euros.
According to the EU announcement, Tesla’s imported vehicles shipped from its Shanghai factory to Europe will be subject to an additional tariff of 20.8%.
