Bucharest officials will also support the training of Ukrainian pilots at the F-16 training center together with partners, thus contributing to the alliance of air force capabilities. Romania will support our country’s defense industry.

Different sections of the document deal with intelligence and counterintelligence, cybersecurity, information security, humanitarian demining, sanctions and Ukraine’s recovery.

Ukraine and Romania have signed a security agreement to implement the G7 Joint Statement in Support of Ukraine signed on July 12, 2023.

Ukraine has signed 23 bilateral security treaties: with the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Denmark, Canada, Italy, the Netherlands, Finland, Latvia, Spain, Belgium, Portugal, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Japan, the United States, the European Union, Estonia, Lithuania, Luxembourg and Romania.
