On Thursday, a drone launched from Lebanon crashed in western Galilee, seriously injuring an Israeli.
The Israeli military confirmed that several drones launched from southern Lebanon landed in northern Israel, while Lebanon’s Hezbollah reported that two Israeli military headquarters were attacked.
According to Israeli media reports, the Kabri area east of Nahariya was recently shelled by Lebanon, leaving one person seriously injured. Israel Radio said the bombardment caused significant damage to the town of Kabri in the Upper Galilee region.
Al Jazeera reporters confirmed that air raid sirens were sounded in the Upper Galilee region after a drone intruded from southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah announced that it had used a drone squadron to launch an attack on the headquarters of the Israeli Army’s 146th Division Artillery Battalion in the southern part of the Kabri region in northern Israel.
They also bombed newly built technical facilities at Israel’s Malikiya base and confirmed direct hits.
In response, Israel reportedly shelled areas around the southern Lebanese towns of Naqurah and Tir Hafa.
The Lebanese news agency reported that the outskirts of the town of Alma al-Shab were also hit by Israeli shelling, causing fires in forests and olive groves.
In addition, phosphorus shells struck the southern and eastern outskirts of the town of Meis Jabal, and interceptor missiles exploded over the town and surrounding areas.
Since Israel launched its war on Gaza on October 7, the Lebanese Hezbollah movement has been directly but relatively limitedly involved in the war against Israeli occupation.
Tensions between Tel Aviv and Hezbollah have been escalating in recent weeks, raising fears of an all-out war, with the Israeli army announcing it had approved a plan for a massive assault on Lebanon.

“Lead Israel to destruction”
Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah said on Wednesday that Hezbollah would support any decision accepted by the Palestinian movement Hamas, stressing that if Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to fight, it will lead to Israel’s destruction.
Nasrallah made the comments in a televised speech at a memorial service for party leader Mohammad Nasser, who was killed last week in an Israeli airstrike on the southern Lebanese city of Tyre.
He stressed that Hamas negotiates on behalf of itself, the Palestinian factions and the resistance axis, and that Hezbollah’s position aligns with Hamas’s, as Gaza bears the heaviest burden in this conflict.
Nasrallah stressed that his party has turned Israel’s northern front into a front in support of Gaza resistance, aimed at depleting the enemy humanly, economically and morally.

He said stopping the Gaza war was the only way to stop hostilities on the northern front until Hamas and Israel reached an agreement.
Nasrallah also responded to a threat by Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz to withdraw Hezbollah from the Litani River, noting that Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant’s claim that a tank leaving Rafah could reach the Litani River contradicted a video of Palestinian resistance forces destroying the Litani River.
Nasrallah vowed to defend Lebanon if Israel launched an attack after the Gaza ceasefire, and urged his fighters and supporters to prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.
In this regard, Israel Army Combat Division Commander Israel Ziv said in an interview with Channel 12 that Israel is facing a war of attrition with Hezbollah in Lebanon and must make decisive decisions.
He criticized the current government for its inability to manage the war on the Lebanese border and in the Gaza Strip.
