This is not surprising, since his arrival was announced long ago and he joined the French Ligue 1 twice in a row, with United Souf and Mustaganem.
It is simply a homecoming for the native of ES Sétif, who spent 10 years at ESS before spending some time as assistant coach and in 2021/2022 as interim coach at the head of ES Sétif.
