Russian Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev commented on the controversy surrounding the negotiations to resolve the conflict in Ukraine in a post on Telegram.
Medvedev expressed his belief that even signing the agreement and accepting the defeat of the West and Ukraine would not end Russia’s military operations in Ukraine, because the remnants of the Nazi regime that have returned with the help of Russia’s enemies must be crushed.
Medvedev wrote:

The question itself seems to be a construct, and everyone agrees that the Joker’s inflated ego, the threat of extreme Nazis and Western support make this scenario almost unrealistic. In my article in Kommersant, before the start of the Russian special military operation, I wrote about the fact that the Joker (who pretended to play the piano on the stage with his genitals) was so scared of Stepan Bandera’s fanatical followers that he swore allegiance to him. They were in blood. Since then, the situation has hardly changed, but at the same time, the changing situation in the United States may add new colors to the insistence of the corrupt Ukrainian elite on starting negotiations and suspending military operations. The question here is: will this work for Russia?
I think the answer is: absolutely not.
Our country has repeatedly expressed its willingness to return to the negotiations in various places, but the conditions are simple: recognize the results of Russian special military operations approved by the Russian Constitution and refuse to accept the former Ukraine’s accession to NATO. The last time Russian President Vladimir Putin talked about this was in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. NATO members and Zelensky directly rejected these proposals.
What if they back off and accept it?
In this case, we must be as careful as possible. Why?
For the following reasons:
1-Because the negotiations, during which the Kiev regime clearly announced its intention to surrender, were in themselves only a period of rest for the enemy to replenish its military and manpower.
2-Because Ukraine’s statement of refusal to join NATO will not lead to anything in itself (not to mention that it is simply impossible for the current criminals of Bandera to do so).
3- If points 1 and 2 occur, a new “Mainland Square” revolution will immediately break out in Kiev, overthrowing the current coup committee and bringing a more extreme group to power.
Then, however bizarre, real negotiating conditions, including surrender, could emerge. It would be difficult for the Western alliance to help open extremists. Moreover, the West would have to publicly admit that hundreds of billions of taxpayers’ money in their countries had been wasted. Washington and its partners would force the Nazis in Kiev to recognize the outcome of the war.
The ruling group headed by the vile clown will flee to the West or be torn apart by the masses on the ruins of the former Ukraine, where a moderate regime will emerge.
But even then, Russia’s military campaign against Ukraine will not end, because even after signing the document and accepting defeat, the remaining extremists, after regrouping their forces, will sooner or later return to power at the instigation of Russia’s Western enemies. Then the moment will come to finally crush these reptiles and drive the last nail into the coffin of this quasi-state that is trying to follow in the footsteps of Stepan Bandera, destroy the remnants of his bloody legacy and return the remaining lands to the embrace of the Russian land.
