The 2024-2025 college football season is almost here and fans are looking forward to the kickoff. Here are the predictions for every team that will automatically bid for the College Football Playoff this season.
Big Five: Boise State University
This might be the hardest choice because there are so many teams. It looks like Boise State will win out because the Broncos are interested in former highly-rated rookie quarterback Malachi Nelson, who transferred to Boise State this offseason.
The real game changer is RB Ashton Jeanty, one of the most promising running backs in college football. Jeanty had a stellar 2023 season, rushing for 1,347 yards and 14 touchdowns. If he can replicate that this season, the Broncos could be headed for their first CFP appearance in school history.
