The Blues Festival will be held at Lagodekhi with the support of TBC

Supported by TBC, the 2024 Blues Festival will kick off its eighth concert series at the Lagodekhi Blues Village on July 20.

Traditionally, blues nights are full of unconventional rhythms and beats typical of the real blues. The festival will be opened by Demetria Taylor, winner of the 2022 Coco Taylor Award in the United States and headliner of the 2023 Chicago Blues Festival, and will also feature Sir Waldo Weathers, the first black country saxophonist, and Adrian Byron Burns, one of the most exciting blues artists in Europe. The audience will be transported to a freer world of blues.

On August 10, the incomparable Big Daddy Wilson and his band will close the festival, taking listeners on a journey from blues roots to classic soul, from folk to modern rhythms.

The eighth consecutive edition of the festival in 2024 will open on July 20 and will welcome hundreds of music lovers every Saturday until August 10, once again reminding people that there is a rather rare tasteful, free and diverse music.

The general sponsors of the festival are the American and German embassies in Georgia and the Coca-Cola Company; Sponsors: Lionidze Zvari and premium craft beer “Taat”. Partner companies: Itar Digital and Caparoli.
