AZ, who has nearly three decades of experience in the industry, wanted to feature flowers in his new music video, “Respect Mines.”
Directed by Gerard Victor, Sosa sang in a flamboyant rap style against a brightly lit set, referencing his legacy and relevance.
“Celebrity certification/My bloodline show, still relevant, so it’s said,” he raps over gritty production from Buckwild and B Hawk. “Still willy, things never go wrong, I’m out in the world with it/Out there flying with it/Still the king, I’m doing this even when my dean’s gone.”
“Respect Mines” is AZ’s upcoming project and the follow-up to his latest album, Life and Death II.
