RPF chief reminds Gicumbi residents that reconstruction depends on security
Candidate Paul Kagame said this while continuing his campaign in Gikumbi District on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, as he continued to build relations with the people of Gikumbi in the fight to liberate the country as the district is the headquarters of the liberation movement. The troops of the RPA continued to live a good life with the people as they fought for the liberation of the country.
He said, “Building ourselves depends on security, we protect what we build, protect our people, and the rest is progress.”
Candidate Paul Kagame said progress is based on the healthy concept of good governance and leaving no one behind. He said: “In RPF politics we will not leave anyone behind, we call on everyone to participate in the development of his activities, but we develop ourselves together as a country”.
Candidate President Paul Kagame said those who destroyed the country had turned it into ruins but now it is in the hands of Rwandans who are working together, in the same direction, focused on building a Rwanda that will not leave every Rwandan.
He said: “Poverty, ignorance, disease, these go with those who leave. Those who finished this country many years ago, those who come with it, we are new. What we should do for ourselves, for the service of the country is different from this, I am talking about for everyone, for security, for good governance, for not being left behind”.
He continued, “I see you young people here, what we should do for our country is to work on everyone in terms of security, good governance, and then our progress will be like others because they also get good things from them. Is to do”.
Candidate Paul Kagame apologized to Banyagimbi, saying he was not the last to visit them, and said he was happy to return and find that they had fulfilled their promises, including building cities, working on seed breeding and modern agriculture.
“But let me tell you, the best part of our future achievements is that we are still together and we are moving towards the progress that we hope to achieve and pray for,” he said.

RPF Chairman Paul Kagame has told the people of Gikumbi that voting for the group in the elections scheduled for July 15, 2024, is a good choice for Rwanda to continue its development journey.
“Ultimately, this election is about continuing our 30-year journey to rebuild our country,” he said.
Gikumbi’s campaign ended with a song sung by young people who told the RPF-Inkotani candidate that he is a cardiologist and that they will send their ballots to him and lead them.
