Today, July 5, 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Dili delivered donated electronic equipment to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Timor-Leste. 
The official handover ceremony took place at the Noble Hall of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, attended by South Korean Ambassador to Dili Shin Man-taek and Director General for Bilateral Affairs in Asia and Oceania Marcos da Costa. 
During the ceremony, the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea symbolically handed over to the Director-General of Bilateral Affairs for Asia and Oceania various electronic equipment, including 170 desktop computers, 60 laptops, 60 printers and 12 projectors. 
On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Director Marcos da Costa expressed his sincerest gratitude to the Government and people of South Korea for their generosity, support and valuable contribution. “There is no doubt that this equipment will improve access to information and facilitate the daily operations of the Ministry,” he said. “It represents more than just technology; it represents a continued commitment to progress and innovation.”
