From the castle grounds to the Janka Kráľ Gardens: Bratislava’s premium cars lead the way in terms of price, but they haven’t yet beaten the top rulers

Living in the capital is not cheap. For example, if you are a university graduate looking for your first home, you will probably choose an ordinary high-rise apartment.

However, growing development intentions often bring with them the lure of an improved standard of living. However, if you do not have the credit worthiness of an investor, your chances of obtaining said housing are slim.

Just look at some figures. The latest data from the Slovak National Bank shows that in the first quarter of this year, the average price of real estate in the Bratislava region rose to 3,087 euros per square meter. Compared to other parts of the country (except for the Košice region), the gap between Slovakia’s capital and other regions is huge.

However, despite the high amount, there are some projects in the Slovak capital that cost hundreds of euros more than this figure.

HN looked at quotes for selected developments, which were priced above the average for new construction.
