The Republika Srpska government today withdrew from parliamentary proceedings the Foreign Agents Law, which they planned to adopt to impose strict oversight on the work of non-governmental organizations. The law has been criticized for its similarities to existing Russian legislation.

The National Assembly of the Republika Srpska was supposed to consider a bill in a regular session that was similar to the one that sparked mass protests in Georgia.
