Simione Damuni scored four goals as Navua FC beat champions Lautoka FC 6-2 in Round 11 of the Digicel Fiji Premier League at the Uprising Sports Centre in Pacific Harbour today.
Navua showed its offensive momentum from the start and at the end of the first half, Damuni scored twice and Rahul Krishna scored another goal to give Navua a 3-0 lead.
Although Lautoka fought back in the second half with goals from Ilimotama Jessai and Sakalaya Naisua, Navua remained in control.
Damuni completed a hat trick and scored another goal, while Ali Mekawir netted a goal to seal a dominant win for the team coached by Sayyid Ali.
