209 volunteers participated in the “Bur Jeddah” activity to educate various stores on safety rules

The Al-Bir Society initiative in Jeddah was launched today with the participation of 209 volunteers, in cooperation with the Jeddah Municipality, to guide customers of major stores in Jeddah city on the prevention of the new coronavirus.
Muhammad Abu Malha, a member of the board of directors of the Al-Bir Association in Jeddah, explained that the Al-Bir Volunteer Club carried out this initiative under the supervision of the municipalities and under the provisions of Majid Salami, director of community responsibility in Jeddah City, urging major stores to provide masks, gloves and sanitizers to shoppers and set a specific distance between them and stay away from gatherings to protect their safety and prevent the spread of the coronavirus among them. Abu Malha called on all the people of the governorate to comply with the regulations and laws issued by the state – may God support it – to eliminate this virus. We all have a responsibility and any one person’s failure to comply with the instructions will lead to this situation. He asked God to bless the efforts of our rulers, security personnel, health teams and volunteers and reward them for their dedication to saving lives and property.
