UN-Habitat is offering you a unique opportunity to actively participate in global urban development strategies. We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the UN-Habitat Youth Advisory Board (YAB) 2023-2025.
Youth voices at the heart of sustainable urban development
The Youth Advisory Board was established in 2008 as an advisory body to provide valuable insights and recommendations to UN-HABITAT, with a focus on sustainable urban development strategies. Over the years, the Youth Advisory Board has played a key role in mainstreaming youth perspectives and advocating for youth participation in UN-HABITAT’s projects and major events.
During its current term, the Youth Advisory Board has worked to achieve gender equality and promote participation across the six UN-HABITAT regions. This dynamic Board is co-hosted by the Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality (Türkiye), which will host World Habitat Day in 2023.
