Last night, a quantity of cannabis and cocaine, as well as some “ecstasy” pills, were found in the possession of a 32-year-old man in the province of Famagusta. As a result, the 32-year-old man was arrested and detained to facilitate investigations.
Specifically, around 11:30 p.m. Yesterday, on a road in the Famagusta province, members of YKAN and OPE Famagusta stopped the 32-year-old man for inspection. After relevant investigations, a pack of cigarettes containing seven packs of marijuana with a total weight of seven grams, a plastic container containing ten packs of cocaine with a total weight of about ten grams, and a plastic container containing eight “ecstasy” pills were found on him.
The 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of drugs with intent to supply drugs to others and was detained to facilitate investigations.
The case is being investigated by YKAN (Famagusta Provincial Scale).
