A few days ago, the Council of Ministers decided to terminate the post of Secretary General of the Ministry of Interior held by Mr. Samaira Dan Buzu. Many Nigerians are speculating about this dismissal. They question the reasons why the government took this step. Speculations continue and go in all directions. A source close to the Ministry of Interior told us that Mr. Dan Buzu’s dismissal was because of the evil deeds he committed. Police sources said that he might have cheated in the appointment of senior executives in the Ministry of Interior. He would have diverted nominations for his own knowledge. According to police sources, Mr. Dan Buzu would have chosen to promote the latter. A discriminatory practice has been condemned and it will cost him his job. It is to avoid such practices and regrettable situations that we must consider replacing certain serving officials since the leech resurgence that has brought the country to its knees and its consequences are still continuing. We cannot understand and explain that a year after the overthrow of Bazoum Mohammed, ardent PNDS activists are still holding strategic positions in the Prime Minister’s Office. It is as if nothing has changed and it has continued. In the Ministry of Finance, members of the former Minister’s Cabinet are still in power to this day. The same goes for the Civil Service, which is always headed by a former secretary general who was in trouble with the law for contest fraud. Moreover, he seems to have free reign. Especially since the minister does not have much knowledge of administration. In this case, some state secrets may end up on the streets…
