The Israeli army announced Thursday that a deputy brigade commander had been killed in fighting on the northern front, a hint at the ongoing fighting between Lebanon’s Hezbollah and Israeli forces.
In addition, according to Israeli sources, Hezbollah fired more than 200 missiles and rockets at Israel, in addition to launching 20 attack drones.
Today is considered one of the harshest retaliatory actions by Hezbollah against Israel since the start of the war.
Hezbollah said: “We targeted a building used by the enemy in the Adamit settlement,” and all the soldiers inside the building were either killed or injured.

Qassam Brigades (Hamas)
“Qassam Brigades, in coordination with the Saraya Al-Quds Brigades, attacked a Zionist Merkava IV tank with a Shuath explosive device in the Shejaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
“After returning from the battlefield, our fighters reported that they had hit two Merkava 4 tanks with Yassin 105 shells in the Shejaiya neighborhood east of Gaza City.
The Qassam Brigades fired “Rajom” rockets and 107 rockets at the headquarters of the enemy’s combat command near “Nahal Oz” in the east of Gaza City.
“Fighters from the Qassam Brigades and the Martyr Abdulkader Husseini Brigades fired a SAM-7 missile at an Apache helicopter over the Shejaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
“Qassam militants carefully planned an ambush in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood of Gaza City, besieged a Zionist militia and clashed with its members, causing casualties. Our militants saw helicopters landing to evacuate the casualties.

“We lured a Zionist infantry unit to a pre-positioned tunnel entrance and detonated it, killing all members of the unit in the Tal Sultan neighborhood west of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
“Qassam Brigades attacked a Zionist Merkava IV tank with a Yassin 105 shell near the Zorob intersection east of the Sultan neighborhood in Rafah.

“Our fighters, returning from the conflict point in Shejaiya community, confirmed that they had carried out the following tasks:
– Our fighters detonated a Thaqib barrel bomb on a Zionist military vehicle near the central area.
– Our fighters, together with fighters from the Qassam Brigades, destroyed a Zionist Markeva 4 tank using a high-explosive barrel bomb.
– Our fighters destroyed enemy positions entering the Al-Shuja’iyya neighborhood in eastern Gaza with 60-caliber conventional mortar shells.
“We bombarded a gathering of Zionist enemies in the Al-Shejaiya neighborhood in eastern Gaza City with mortar shells.
“We fired a barrage of Type 107 rockets at the enemy’s combat command center in the Shejaiya neighborhood.
“Our fighters sniped a Zionist soldier in the intrusion area in the center of Rafah.”

At 10:55 am on Thursday, July 4, 2024, Islamic Resistance fighters fired a heavy Burkan missile at the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in the occupied Lebanese Kfar Shubashan, hitting the site directly, causing it to catch fire, partially destroying the site, and causing casualties.
