Entries are now open for the 2024 Asia Podcast Awards.
The awards were launched by radioinfo last year to recognise the best podcasts released in Asia over the past year. Independent publishers, broadcasters and podcast hosting companies are all welcome to participate.
Anyone producing a podcast in any language targeting the Asia or Pacific region can participate.
Steve Ahern, CEO of parent company AMT Pty Ltd, said this year’s awards were bigger and better: “In 2024, these Asia-wide awards will be expanded further. Last year, we tested the appetite for awards competitions across the region and the response was overwhelming, so we expect an even higher number of entries this year.”
The winners will be recognized by radioinfo and Podnews publications, and the overall winner will be flown to Kuala Lumpur to attend the Radiodays Asia conference in September.
James Cridland, editor of Podnews, said: “As podcasting continues to grow in Asia, I’m delighted to see the Asian Podcast Awards return for another year. The high quality podcasts coming out of the region deserve more attention and the Asian Podcast Awards are a great opportunity to do just that.”
The deadline to register is Sunday, July 28. Click here.
