Daniel, however, is not much of a joker and said he would enjoy the game as a spectator this time.
“I fell off my back and landed on my shoulder, which caused a dislocation of my shoulder. Then the joint just pulled, so yesterday I went from the shoulder joint again. I went to the hospital and then I had a fractured shoulder. I was advised not to do it,” Daniel said in an interview with Eiðfaxa.
He added: “Maybe rushing here at full speed will cause the shoulder to dislocate and end up on Busta Davig, which is not a good thing.”
He was evasive about the period leading up to the accident.
I’m just getting old.’ It’s just clumsy,” Daniel said.
Daniel says he has good painkillers that allow him to enjoy the game without pain. However, they are not without side effects.
“At eleven o’clock today, I felt like I was the only drunk person on the slopes,” he said.
Eidfax journalist Kári Steinsson noted that Daniel will not be in attendance this weekend.
“Taking painkillers?” Daniel asked them.
“No, he wasn’t the only drunk guy on the ramp,” Carrie insisted.
“No, I hope not. Not at eleven o’clock at least,” Daniel went on.
