Swangz Avenue is delighted to announce the release of Swangz All Star Album, an unprecedented collaborative project that brings together some of Uganda’s most celebrated artists.
The announcement was made across all Swangz Avenue socials and was accompanied by a captivating video showcasing our talented line-up including Vinka, Azawi, Winnie Nwagi, Elijah Kitaka, Zafarani and Joy Good.
In the announcement video, Swangz Avenue co-founder Benon Mugumbya introduced the artists to a unique challenge: put aside their respective commitments, cancel all bookings, and spend a week in Zanzibar recording a full album. This project marks the first time these artists have collaborated to create a piece of art, promising a perfect blend of talent and creativity.
“This is not just a Swangz Avenue project; this is a Ugandan all-star album,” Benon said.
“We have always aspired to create an album featuring multiple Ugandan artists and we are delighted to finally be making this vision a reality. We will be inviting several other artists to contribute to the album”
