Bishop Galb celebrates the Feast of the Visitation of Our Lady on Sunday. Bishop Carmelo Gauch will celebrate Mass for the elderly on Saturday, including You gods The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m., followed by Mass celebrated by Archpriest Bishop Joseph Sultana at 6:30 p.m. The Children’s Choir will be conducted by Maxine DeBrincat to add vibrancy to the Mass.

The movement of the relics, led by Bishop Anton Teuma of Gozo, will begin at 7.30pm from Corpus Christi Church to the Cathedral, followed by solemn evening prayers led by Bishop Teuma, assisted by the Cathedral Brothers, the Congregation of the Visitation of the Garbu, the Marian Prayers, the Marian Prayers and the Blessing of the Sacraments.

On Sunday morning at 9am there will be a solemn Concelebration Mass, presided by Bishop Teuma, with the participation of members of the Għarb Cathedral Chapter and the Church Chapter. Bishop Teuma will deliver the eulogy. Mr Paul Portelli will sing the Visitation Mass, with the participation of the Parish Choir under the direction of Maestro Antoine Mercieca.

The St. Margaret’s Band will play a march at 11:30am. Bishop Savio Hon Tai-Fai, Nuncio to the See of Malta, will lead the second evening prayer of the College Chapter at 6:30pm. The procession will leave the church at 7:30pm, accompanied by the Visitation Band. The Xagħra Victory Band will perform in front of the Parish Church.

22nd Edition Tradition Flowering Taking place in the cathedral’s nave on Sunday, the infjorata is organised by Għarb Local Council in conjunction with the parish and outdoor celebrations committee.

Volunteer Groups Performance Arts The local council and other volunteers are responsible for laying the floral carpet. This year’s design was created by Clive Rotin and focuses on the College’s 250th anniversary. It will also include the official anniversary logo designed by Ruben Camilleri. The celebrations will be broadcast on Radio Visitation 92.4 FM.
