Tazabek – Russia’s passenger car production fell in May for the first time since early 2024, according to Rosstat data.
In the last month of spring, Russia produced a total of 43,000 passenger cars. In May 2024, car production decreased by 2.1% compared to May 2023.
Compared to April 2024, production fell by 31.5%.
From January to May 2024, Russia produced a total of 267,100 passenger cars, an increase of 66.6% over the same period last year.
