Kutaisi Court of Appeal Judge Shota Siradze, father of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Patrol Police, Vazha Siradze, did not mention the properties registered in his and his wife’s names in his 2024 statement. Transparency International Georgia disseminated the information.

TI calls on the Anti-Corruption Bureau to study the irregularities revealed in Shota Siradze’s statement and take appropriate countermeasures.

Violation 1: Failure to declare property – Shota Siradze failed to include the following real estate in her declaration:

873 sqm A plot of land in Hobby with buildings on it.

500 sqm. A plot of land in the village of Kulev, Hobi municipality, with buildings on it.

5498 square meters of land in Guliful Village, Hobi Municipality.

2785 sqm A plot of land in Guliful Village, Hobi Municipality.

In addition, he did not include the following properties owned by his wife, Eka Lataria, in his statement:

1000 square meters of land located in Kulewi Village, Hobi Municipality.

Two small areas in Hobby City (9.88 square meters and 13.43 square meters).

In the statement, Shota Siradze also did not include the following properties owned by his mother, Mzia Siradze:

3150 sqm A plot of land in Guliful Village, Hobi Municipality.

Violation 2: Failure to declare salary – Shota Siradze did not show the annual income he received as authorized by the judge in his 2024 financial declaration. He also did not mention this in his 2023 manifesto.

Violation 3: Undeclared business shares – Shota Siradze’s wife, Eka Lataria, owns 100% of the shares of “Kate Global” LLC and is also a director of the company, but did not fully indicate the percentage of shareholding in the declaration.

In addition, Lataria is a shareholder of “Global Oil” LLC and a co-founder and director of “Beraya and Company” LLC. Gela Khuntsaria, director of Global Oil LLC, donated 30,000 and 15,000 GEL to the Georgian Dream in 2020-2021,” the published information reads.
