The camera makes you sick of Miral, who is otherwise very good

The camera work made me a little nauseous. Some historical data could have been explored better. Nevertheless, the movie “Miral” could have been longer. And he is not short. How could it be otherwise? The story spans from 1947 to 1994 and takes place in Israel.

A lot happened in the Middle East during that time. The film is named after the main character, Miral. A Palestinian girl who has been involved in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict since childhood, or in fact, long before. Good film. But occasionally a little sweet and a little too contrived in some of the portrayals. Freida Pinto plays the beautiful protagonist. The wild camera movements and sometimes fast editing vaguely remind of her previous work “Slumdog Millionaire”. Nevertheless, it was a good choice for all the festival visitors who sat in the crowded hall on Saturday night.
