Presidential Candidates Jorge Gandini vote This Sunday, at a table in Parque de la Amistad in Montevideo.
The nationalist said he was thrilled by the “support of the people” and the “commitment of the whole country”, which he had felt since the early hours of the morning.
Gandini arrives at the polling station accompanied by his daughter Sylvia Wilson Ferreira Aldunate. “It was a conspiracy to go together,” she said, and said he picked her up.

In a conversation with the media, the nationalist candidate encouraged citizens to vote: despite the cold, the weather was sunny and after noon was “a good time to go out and vote”, he said.
“I think the people of the party are very enthusiastic and have a strong fighting spirit, and I see strong internal strength at the departmental level. People will also soon participate in electing their mayoral candidate and I am sure the party will vote well,” he concluded.
