Libreville, Thursday, June 27, 2024 (Infos Gabon) – The Minister of Foreign Affairs in charge of sub-regional integration has approved the draft decree establishing, attributing and organizing the General Committee for Exhibitions of Gabon (CGEG).
The mission of this organization, proposed by Regis Onanga Ndiaye, is to integrate international exhibitions into Gabon’s influence diplomacy strategy and to effectively prepare Gabon for its participation in future international exhibitions, especially Osaka Kansai 2025 and Belgrade 2027.
The creation of the Gabon General Committee for Exhibitions is intended to better defend national interests during international exhibitions, government spokesman Laurence Ndong announced at the end of the Council of Ministers on June 25, 2024.
