To reflect Tunisia’s emphasis on education and recognition of young talents, Tunisian supermarket chain MG, as always a pioneering brand, took the initiative to reward the seven bachelor’s degree recipients with the highest average scores in 2023. This is a first in the industry.

In this context, the brand hosted a special awards ceremony at its headquarters on Thursday, July 13, 2023, attended by managers of the MG supermarket chain, the winners and their parents, as well as local media.

The winners and their families received gifts: a computer for each winner and a hotel stay with their immediate family.

The awards ceremony reaffirmed MG’s commitment to excellence, not only the close relationships it maintains with families and young people, but most importantly its civic commitment to merit and endeavour.

Fahd pointed out that in Tunisia, the bachelor’s degree represents a decisive turning point in the life of young people and their families, and that MG hopes, through this initiative, to highlight young Tunisians and encourage them to persevere on the path of excellence and performance, said Chaouch, CEO of Magasin Général.

“The idea of ​​Magasin Général is to encourage young achievers to work and set a good example for future generations, and LG wants to send a strong message about the importance of investing in young people,” he said during the event ceremony.

The seven winners from LG are:

-Mathematics section: Abderrahmane Firas Ben Hamidane from Zaghouan Pilot High School has an average score of 19.75, the best average score for the 2023 Bachelor’s degree.

– Experimental Science: Ghofrane Abid, from Bourguiba Pilot High School, Tunisia, average score 19.67

-Technical Sciences: Mohtadi Bachtobji from Abdelaziz Khouja High School, Kelibia, with an average score of 19.61.

-Computer Science: Mohamed Amine Chochane from Abderrazak Hammami Secondary School in Ben Arous, with an average score of 19.32.

-Economics and Management: Azer Laabidi from Mornaguia Al-Farabi Secondary School, with an average score of 18.05.

– Physical Education: Ferdaws Saadaoui, graduated from Kef High School on March 2, 1934 with an average score of 17.56.

-Modern Literature: Erij Massoud, from Gafsa Pilot High School, with an average score of 16.90.
