Tuwaiq Academy announces the opening of registration for the (Metaverse Academy) camp, which will start on May 21, 2023 at the Academy headquarters in Riyadh for 8 months, the first camp of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa, in partnership with Metaverse companies, aims to enhance the concept of Metaverse and its applications and to train participants in the basic skills needed to build and develop its systems. The camp is organized around multiple courses aimed at introducing the concept of the Metaverse, building augmented reality with Meta Spark, training participants and qualifying them to discover augmented and virtual reality technologies and their applications, and equipping participants with the skills in the field of augmented and virtual reality needed by the labor market, as it allows registration for the Academy camps through the following link: https://metaverse.tuwaiq.edu.sa.
Juwal Awad, Meta’s Director of Public Policy Programs for the Middle East, North Africa and Turkey, stressed the importance of working with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and partners in the region to accelerate efforts to develop a comprehensive, integrated regional system for the Metaverse and to establish a partnership with Tuwaiq Academy, calling on all those interested in joining the Metaverse Academy to register and contribute to the community that will form the next generation of Metaverse creators, developers, and builders.
Abdulaziz Al Hammadi, CEO of Tuwaiq Academy, explained that the academy is working to activate partnerships with large companies and advanced international entities. The aim is to equip national cadres with the latest international expertise and bridge the gap between modern technological developments and labor market requirements.
