Built to Murdoch’s specifications, the apartment offers 360-degree views of landmarks such as the Empire State Building and One World Trade Center.
The building charges monthly fees of more than $16,000, which include amenities such as a full-time doorman and concierge and a gym with an indoor pool and steam room.
Murdoch reportedly bought the penthouse a decade ago for nearly $58 million, while also purchasing a smaller 278-square-meter apartment in the same building.
Murdoch, who resigned as chairman of News Corp and Fox last year after nearly 70 years in office, married for the fifth time earlier this month.

Murdoch’s media empire is currently run by his son Lachlan, who lives in a $150 million mansion in Los Angeles.
