Argentina’s ‘Piranha Robbery’ gang stole 952 phones from a bus

The Argentine Federal Police have dismantled a gang that operated in a “piranha robbery” style in bus units. Everything known about the case. There are six detainees.

This “piranha robbery” has become a (horrifying) custom in some of Argentina’s larger cities, with teenagers often working in groups to attack and rob victims of their belongings.
