A septuagenarian was kidnapped in France: what happened
The criminal then set off on his way to an unknown destination. Investigations were launched by personnel from the Al Ain Criminal Identification Department and the Lyon Research Department. Research is still ongoing to find the perpetrators of this kidnapping.
The first element of the investigation indicated that the septuagenarian, unknown to police, had no role in the incident, but still indicated that her family was “known for drug cases”.
Therefore, the first data collected by the police indicated that this was a “intimidation kidnapping” as part of a settlement of scores between rival gangs.
That doesn’t mean the investigation is moving forward, Closer magazine noted, because five days after the kidnapping, there has been no sign of the septuagenarian and the perpetrators have yet to be identified.
Furthermore, the same source revealed that the situation could be further complicated by the victim’s advanced age and “fragile health”. In fact, the death of the septuagenarian would turn the case from kidnapping to homicide.
