Mukalubuga said that the reason why her face is the face of RPF-Inkotanyi is because she made her think and start working to improve herself as a single woman, so now she has become a farmer producing sweet potatoes. She sows seeds all over the country and temporarily earns about six million Rwandan currency.

He said: “First I praise God, then I praise Paul Kagame, I thank RPF-Inkotanyi for what it has done for me. At 35, I was a widow with four children and I started thinking about this: when a woman marries, they start to win her favor like a cattle breeder because you have to earn money for him. I admired the way the RPF-Inkotanyi leadership promoted us, we were professional farmers, helping those who worked to progress, and now I protest with my diploma, you don’t separate us, I only studied eight primary schools. This face you see is the face of RPF-Inkotanyi, because I was able to educate myself and now I have progressed (…)”.

Mukarubuga said she is now 59 years old and with the help of RPF-Inkotanyi and Paul Kagame, she has achieved a lot including owning two hectares of banana seeds in partnership with RAB and owning another hectare of banana seeds. She grows maize on the land, year after year, so he is a model farmer in Mwogo.

He said that with the money he earned from farming, his four children were all well educated, and the last child was about to graduate from college. In addition to his children, there were seven other children he did not raise, including those he raised without parents, but as a guardian angel.

Mukarubuga also said that he lived in a nice modern house with a lot of space and he rented five other small houses in Kaboshya centre in Mwogo district.

He has been the leader of the village since 2006 and leads about 25 villagers, including men. For him, what matters is the women that RPF-Inkotani gives him, which did not exist before, so he has to vote for the RPF candidate in order to continue the development, and other things he plans to do include buying a car to help him farm and spread seeds everywhere.

RPF-Inkotani candidate campaign representative and Mwogo district councillor Halimana Assuman said they were grateful to Kagame for removing ethnic minorities from identity cards and that Rwandans were united and also removed signs that stopped cars from passing and indicated which province they were from because it was discriminatory.

He said in Mwogo District, they admire Paul Kagame because he has something called security in his blood, mind and thoughts so they should support him and show him that by voting for him.

He said that “before the genocide, anyone who fell ill in Mwogo zone had to go to Lilima or Nyamata for treatment, now there are four health counsellors in each cell, all cells have a health station, there is also a Mwogo health centre and “private barracks have been built in Mwogo zone”.

Assumani continued, “There are also welfare projects, Mituweli, Girinka, children who receive hookah Kibodo to fight infections, etc., there was no school in Mwogo, now there is a school in every cell, no one succeeds, now we have students from the United States, Canada, they work in big companies (…) We need to vote for Paul Kagame so that all this can continue”.
