“Smer-SD, SNS and Hlas-SD form a stable coalition,” Danko stressed. According to his own words, he wanted to send a signal to the population: there are no problems with the coalition. He pointed out that there are no problems at the NR SR meetings and the government’s proposals are being passed. “The government is in charge and we passed very difficult laws,” he said, referring to the amendments to the Criminal Code or the STVR Act.
As for the increase in the minimum wage, he denied the claim that the social networking service was holding something up. He noted that the Ministry of Labor has not yet received the opinion of the Ministry of Finance and that the nationalists are also waiting to see what impact the proposal will have on the state budget. “For us it is important not to undermine the state budget,” said the SNS leader, who also said that when the budget is drawn up, the SNS may also demand the setting of a minimum pension. According to him, the debate belongs to the coalition government committee and he is confident that Prime Minister Robert Fico (Smer) will return sooner rather than later.
Danko reiterated that even after the election of Peter Pellegrini as President of the Slovak Republic, new situations have emerged. According to him, Heras therefore holds one of the strongest positions in the state administration, in the ministries and in the Office of the President. He denied that “anyone is pushing anyone against the wall”. However, he still believes that it would be ideal if the three ruling parties occupied the positions of the three highest constitutional officials. He thanked Smer for similar remarks. He reacted to the Slovak National Party’s (SNS) actions to block the adoption of the minimum wage law.
“It is said that the situation is so unbearable that he even compares it to the government of Igor Matović. It’s about the hostility between the two parties, Hlas-SD and SNS, which have been openly sending various messages to each other,” the liberal claimed. At the same time, the chairman of the SaS Branislav Gröhling drew attention to the current problems that plague the Slovak people. For example, it is about the delays in the passports of citizens a few days before the start of the holidays, and the police complained to the Minister of the Interior Matusz Sutaj Estock (Hlas-SD) that he did not solve the bad situation in the sector, which the local authorities are trying to solve. The health sector, which is on the verge of bankruptcy, continues to go downhill, represented by the “conspirator Peter Kotla”.
