Ms. Shirley Cecilia brings a wealth of expertise. As project leader, she founded the Netherlands Data Protection Authority in Curaçao. She also has experience as project leader for basic registration systems and advisor to the Minister of Administration, Planning and Services.

In the past she also set up the ICT department of the Landslaboratorium, now known as ADC. Her extensive knowledge in information technology and project management is a valuable addition to her rich background and experience.

CBP BES is an independent supervisory authority established by Royal Decree. Its mission is to ensure that personal data is processed in accordance with the BES Personal Data Protection Law (Wbp BES). In addition, CBP BES oversees police data processing (Wpg) and the basic management of personal data (Wba BES) in Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba.
