Dam Press:

Since the beginning of the Lebanese resistance on October 23, 1983, with the bombing of the Marine Corps Building and the French Forces Building in Beirut, which killed hundreds of American and French soldiers and officers, the defeat of the American and French forces and their withdrawal from Beirut, as well as the Syrian capture of American pilot Robert Goodman, whose plane was shot down over Lebanon. December 4, 1983

From that time until today, the Lebanese national resistance to the Zionist entity’s occupation of southern Lebanon until the aggression of Beirut in 1982 has developed, expanded and taken root.
It conducted daily attacks on the occupying forces, giving them a taste of both sides and making the enemy lose consciousness, and from April 11 to 27, 1996, it attacked southern villages with “Operation Grapes of Wrath” and carried out the Qana massacre, in which 120 civilians (including women and children) were killed while taking refuge at the headquarters of the United Nations force in Ghana.
The aggression was curbed by the so-called April Agreement, which legitimized the southern resistance against the occupation. Syria and its immortal president, Hafez al-Assad, played a major role in it.
This agreement gave the resistance a “new” impetus, concentrating it on attacking enemy camps and bases until it could no longer survive. Four years later, it carried out the largest escape operation in the history of the army as the army of the entity. The escape from southern Lebanon on May 25, 2000 was the first escape since the creation of the entity, the victory of the Lebanese National Resistance over this army, which was defeated by its attacks, and the liberation of southern Lebanon up to the Shab’a farms.
As we approach the twenty-fourth anniversary of the liberation of southern Lebanon, the resistance is stronger, more powerful, more armed, more determined, and more resolute in its commitment to liberate all of Palestine.
On this anniversary, Syria is emerging victorious from more than 13 years of global war of aggression and is achieving this goal by continuing the journey and completing the liberation of land, honor and humanity from the enemy. We can enjoy freedom, pride, dignity and security.
This anniversary comes as the wounded Gaza resistance, which with the greatest steadfastness and resistance for more than seven months triumphed over the Zionist executioners backed by the most powerful oppressive regime in human history, continues to accumulate under the powerful Jabhat al-Nusra, despite the genocide committed by the occupation.
Greetings of love and support to the powerful Lebanese national resistance and the Lebanese Democratic Forces, who have achieved glorious victories over the enemy at all stages and fronts of support.
Warm greetings to President Bashar al-Assad, supporter and protector of the Arab resistance against the occupation of our Arab lands by the Zionist entity.
Greetings with pride and dignity to all Arab resistance fighters
After the Arab victories in Gaza and Stalingrad, God willing, the greatest victory will come
Happy New Year to the Arab Resistance and the Motherland
