Police said four Andorran-registered vehicles were damaged after colliding with another vehicle on the N-240 through Monferrer. The accident occurred at around 4pm, at kilometre 230.5, blocking traffic in both directions for nearly three quarters of an hour, causing a momentary delay; it was then possible to pass the lanes of the petrol station located at that point.
According to Catalan media, the accident may have been caused by other cars with Spanish license plates colliding with the Andorran car trying to enter the gas station. The alleged cause of the accident may have left the scene and the Catalan police will look for them.
