Nordland police first reported the incident at 4:23 p.m. Monday.
The bus went off the road on the E10 near Hartness.
– Police wrote in police logs that the bus completely went off the road, but as there were many tourists on the bus, the road has now been closed for everyone’s safety.
Operations manager Remi Johansen told the media that there were reportedly 44 passengers on the bus, but the exact number has not been confirmed. It was difficult to get everyone out.
It is not yet clear whether anyone was injured.
– Police wrote that a rescue helicopter was sent to the scene, but there was no record of whether anyone on the bus was injured.
