Customers of three Dutch banks were unable to access their accounts on Monday due to problems with their websites and mobile apps.
SNS, ASN and RegioBank were unable to provide banking services from around 11:30 a.m., according to online outage monitoring site Allestoringen.nl.
Both banks are subsidiaries of People’s Bank, which has about 3 million customers in total through three banks and mortgage provider BLG Wonen.
SNS posted a message on social media platform X on Monday apologizing for the disruption. Before 3 p.m. It released an update It said most customers were now back online but warned that apps were running slowly.
🚨 There is another disruption at the moment… We understand how annoying this is and we apologize for the inconvenience. There are currently issues with the app, website and payment transactions not always working properly. We are doing everything we can to resolve this. Thank you for your understanding!

This is the second time in four days that customers of the banking group have been affected by a technical glitch. On Friday, the banking apps of all three banks were down for about three hours after midday.
The People’s Bank of China did not disclose what caused the website and application to be paralyzed.
