Statistics by the Ministry of the Interior on national traffic accidents in 2023 by cause show that there were 5,920 accidents, of which 52 causes included: failure to maintain adequate distance, sudden deviation, standing in the middle and entering the street without confirming that the road is clear, overtaking where overtaking is prohibited, speeding without considering road conditions, failure to comply with mandatory lanes, failure to comply with traffic lights, driving under the influence of alcohol, and reversing without ensuring that the road is clear.
Statistics show that distracted driving caused 600 accidents while not maintaining adequate distance caused 789 accidents.
According to statistics, there have been 50 accidents caused by driving without a license.
