Chery maintained its 14th position in the overall ranking, ahead of seven other Chinese brands in the top 50, including BYD at 15th, Great Wall at 22nd, Lynk & Co at 25th, SAIC Maxus at 26th, JAC Motors at 31st, Changan Automobile at 34th.

Chery will also work with local company Ebro-EV Motors to open Spain’s first electric vehicle production center in 2024 at a former Nissan plant that previously produced 200,000 vehicles and employed 3,000 workers.
