Cabinet has agreed that Fiji will co-host the 2024 Pacific Small Island Developing States (SIDS) Solutions Forum with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (UNFAO).
The forum will be held from November 5 to 8, 2024.
Launched by FAO in 2021, the SIDS Platform provides innovative solutions to accelerate the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on agriculture, food, nutrition, environment and health in Small Island Developing States (SIDS).
The last Small Island Developing States Forum was held in Apia, Samoa in 2022.
