NASSAU, BAHAMAS – On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the Central Bank of the Bahamas, artist Tyrone Ferguson was commissioned to create a sculpture to commemorate the historic event.
Pictured here is his sculpture, which will be unveiled on the front lawn of the Frederick Street entrance of the Central Bank on June 21, 2024. Central Bank Governor John Rolle gave a speech and the Central Bank 50th Anniversary Choir performed a piece of music.
