Ministers from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers meet with representatives of the Tony Blair Institute « Government of Timor-Leste

Today, 21 June 2024, Minister of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Agio Pereira, met with representatives of the Tony Blair Global Change Institute (TBI) to discuss potential collaboration between the Government of Timor-Leste and TBI. The meeting was attended by the Tony Blair Institute’s Asia Pacific Director, Read Leask, and Timor-Leste Director, Wanessa Marques.

This introductory meeting aims to initiate discussions on possible areas of collaboration between the Ninth Constitutional Government and the Tony Blair Institute, in line with the priorities outlined in the Government Programme.

The Tony Blair Institute is a global non-profit organisation founded by former British Prime Minister Tony Blair that supports political leaders and governments to implement initiatives that benefit people.
