Turkestan woman sentenced to 15 years in prison for killing her two children

The horrific incident took place on February 7. A woman from Kyzylorda rented an apartment with her two children and committed the crime there. He killed his two children, aged 2 and 5, with a pillow and fled to Shymkent. On the way, he called his girlfriend and told her that he had committed a crime and where the bodies of the children were. A day later, the police caught him in a hotel in Shymkent. The court proceedings were discussed with the participation of the judge. Bota Khamitovna stated in court that before the crime she heard strange noises and saw ghosts. After killing the children, she said, “I was going to hang myself,” but she could not convince the jury. Bezburk’s mother now has to serve her sentence in a medium-security prison. Previously, the defendant worked as a teacher in a kindergarten in Kyzylorda Oblast.
